Have you ever noticed that some people feel completely wiped out after eating a serving of pasta or bread, while after a big steak they’re full of energy and ready to take on the world? Or that some people experience a short-lived energy spike after eating a lot of carbs and then crash into a deep slump with intense cravings? Have you been trying unsuccessfully to lose weight for a long time, even though you’re cutting out fat, while your friend finds it easy to do so on the same diet?
The reason for these differences is that not everyone performs equally well on the same “fuel.” There are different metabolic types that determine how much of each nutrient a person needs to be well-nourished and maintain a consistently high energy level.
In this workshop, you’ll learn about your individual metabolic type, which we’ll determine together. This metabolic type is genetically determined for each person. You’ll discover which foods are good for you and which you should avoid in order to maintain sufficient and steady energy levels throughout the day.
These dietary recommendations are supplemented with insights from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). By choosing the right foods, preparation methods, and spices, your body will be further strengthened and brought into balance. This allows you to derive the maximum amount of energy from your food without putting a strain on your body. Individual food intolerances can also be taken into account.
To help you easily follow the diet based on metabolic types at home, you’ll receive comprehensive materials with recipes and nutritional recommendations tailored to your metabolic type. This will allow you to nourish yourself optimally with the right foods and meals.
