Fall invites us to make a variety of observations. The colored leaves may already have fallen to the ground in large numbers, and yet fall is a sight to behold: the colors and the crisp air that brushes against our noses. Perhaps there’s already a hint of snow in the air. Fog is slowly filling the forests and fields. Nature is drawing back. Fall is also a time when we experience reduction. In drawing and painting as well, reduction lends works great power and depth.
The art of drawing is of extraordinary importance for a person’s emotional and aesthetic development. Drawing helps us gain new perspectives and a deeper understanding of nature itself. Drawing enriches our lives in every way. This workshop offers an ideal opportunity to deepen one’s skills and learn new techniques. Here, participants can explore different methods under the guidance of experienced instructors and apply them to their own work. Experimentation plays a major role in the workshop’s approach.
One-on-one work reviews, general studio critiques, and, above all, the daily slide presentations on art history reflect on individual projects, thereby deepening the learning process and fostering personal growth.
Participants will receive clear instructions, and all drawings will be discussed. The seminar is suitable for both beginners and advanced students.
