There are a total of 80 parking spaces at Retzhof.
Four parking spaces are reserved for guests with disabilities.

Grounds & Buildings
The grounds include two guesthouses, Retzhof Castle with ten seminar rooms, a climbing garden, and a spinal column course.
The accessible guesthouse with the reception is directly connected to Retzhof Castle via a weather-protected bridge without steps or thresholds.
A sufficiently large elevator is located next to the reception (floor area 140×110 cm).
This guesthouse has 21 accessible single rooms and six accessible double rooms on two floors with an elevator.
The second guesthouse (left building, as seen from the parking lot) is accessible via stairs on three floors.
It offers 14 comfortable single rooms, 13 comfortable double rooms, and one four-bed room.
The castle houses the seminar and group rooms, as well as the tavern. There is an elevator with a floor area of 94 x 105 cm.
The buildings are connected via paved pathways without steps. These pathways have tactile edges and are easily detectable by touch.
Tactile guide strips are located in front of the main entrances.
Reception & Front Desk
The reception is located on the ground floor of the accessible guesthouse (right building, as seen from the parking lot) – approximately 30 m from the parking lot.
The path from the parking lot to the reception is step-free – initially with a slight incline – but easily navigable with a wheelchair, walker, or stroller.
The entrance to the reception consists of automated doors.
For late-night arrivals, there is an accessible key safe to the right of the entrance to the accessible guesthouse. The operating height is 110 cm.
The reception is located on the left side and has a lowered section.
In the reception area, there is a tactile edge leading to the stairs. The stairs have handrails on both sides.
Rooms
The doors are designed with high contrast, and the room numbers are tactile.
The lateral clearance of the room door from the inside is 35 cm.
The shower and toilet are accessible without thresholds.
Folding support grab bars are available in some rooms. In the shower and toilet, there is an angled grab bar.
The top edge of the bed frame is 50 cm.
The beds can be accessed with a patient lift (height = 23 cm).
In case of fire, deaf guests in both guesthouses are alerted via radio technology.
Seminar & Group Rooms
The castle building contains eight seminar rooms of various sizes (50 – 90 m²)…
…and one “multifunctional room” (100 m²), all wheelchair accessible.
The door leaf has a clear opening width of 70 cm.
All seminar rooms are acoustically optimized and accessible without steps.
The double doors can both be opened if needed.
An induction loop system can be activated in two seminar rooms.
All seminar rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art seminar technology.
The facility also offers its guests a test room (for approximately 10 people) to experience virtual reality.
Dining | Drinks | Celebrations
In the inner courtyard of the castle building, there is a garden terrace and a tavern accessible without steps.
This is available to guests around the clock.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served here (self-service from 7:30 PM).
If needed, we are happy to assist you at the buffet.
The entrance door has an electric door opener (operated by a button).
The inner courtyard is paved with cobblestones. The arcaded walkways are easily navigable.
When it comes to food and beverages, we strive to accommodate your dietary needs as best as possible. Please inform us of your requirements and preferences in advance.
In the inner courtyard of the castle building, there is a wine cellar. It accommodates approximately 25 people and can be rented. It is not accessible without steps.
Accessible Restroom Facilities
In the accessible guesthouse, there are accessible restrooms on each floor. There is also an accessible restroom in the inner courtyard of the castle.

The facility is surrounded by an easily navigable park with a spinal column course and a climbing garden.
In the inner courtyard of the castle building, there is a wine cellar. It accommodates approximately 25 people and can be rented. It is not accessible without steps.
